86. The Crown Inn, 1976
I used to have a drink here every Friday night back in the seventies, and then walk over to Vic Last's Fish & chip shop for supper, great days. The two girls and the boy are local, Stuart and his wife are holding flags, next to them is Mick Meadows, and on the end is his wife Vivien, the girl in between is Stuart's daughter, I think.

87. Panorama. On the left is the Crown, on the right the yellow building is Vic Last's Fish & Chip shop, or rather it was. It is now a private residence.
Stroll up the hill past the old Fish & Chip shop, towards Aldeburgh and you see the building going on....

Back down the hill and... look down Priory Lane towards the Golden Key, then sit in the sun (sometimes) on the terrace.

On the land behind No.1 The Sands, Dean Smith has built this cottage. His lovely Staffordshire Bull Terrier is named Mabel - she was very friendly, and was wandering around the new cottage building plot.
