This scene shows Thoroughfare before the 1995 narrowing of
the roadway and widening of the footpaths.

This scene is very similar to the more recent
version, above.
The reverse has no printers or other identifying marks.

in New Street, is thought to date from around 1920.
The road surface is not earth, it has a light covering of
horse manure.
