Woodbridge Ambient Music Festival Weekend – September 25-27th 2026
Ambient music returns to Woodbridge for the Autumn Equinox weekend with headliners Talvin Singh, Tom Rogerson, Luke Abbott and the London Ambient Orchestra.
The Woodbridge Ambient Music Festival returns to the home of ambient music for a full moon weekend Sept 25-27.
The popular boutique festival welcomes visitors and musicians from all over the world, providing a beautiful chilled out slow weekend in the historic town of Woodbridge and along the River Deben.
This year’s headlining performers includes Mercury Music Prize winner Talvin Singh OBE, playing a solo set of Tabla, Textures & Drones at St Mary’s Church as part of pianist Tom Rogerson’s annual Saturday event. Joining the stellar line up will be Luke Abbott, the London Ambient Orchestra, Momen and Lawrence Williams.
Other highlights include a beautiful Full Moon Event at the Woodbridge Tide Mill, Slow Sunday Sessions in St Marys and an Ambient Showcase at the Angel. The Ambient Label Hub returns with some of the best ambient music from all over the UK and around Whisstocks there will be live music and ambient DJs on Saturday plus a celebration of the River Deben on Sunday morning. The many pubs and eateries of Woodbridge will be open and welcoming all visitors for this exciting town-wide community celebration.
Producer Jan Pulsford says “Woodbridge has a special feeling. The river and light inspire many artists and musicians. Brian Eno, known as the ‘Father of Ambient Music’ and his brother Roger grew up here. The weekend festival, now in its fifth year, continues celebrating a link to ambient music, something the town is very proud to acknowledge.”
