ABF The Soldiers’ Charity

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is the Army’s main  charity and provides assistance to  all soldiers, ex-soldiers and their dependants who are found to be in real need.  The Charity needs to raise at least £7 million nationally and about £50,000 of this is spent in Suffolk, typically on some 35 -40 individual cases and with a grant of about £15,000 to the Lord Kitchener Memorial Home at Lowestoft, which provides holiday breaks.  With regular soldiers based at Honington, Wattisham and Woodbridge and TA units in Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Lowestoft, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is an important part of Suffolk’s charity sector.  Events are held throughout the year and your support is important to all soldiers.  See all our events, national and local,  at http://www.soldierscharity.org/
