Woodbridge Books, established some 40 years ago, has re-opened under new management. Glenn Williams moved to the Netherlands from South Wales 22 years ago and trained as a computer network engineer. Now he has relocated back to Britain together with his Dutch family and taken over the bookshop formerly run by Mrs Lesley Moore. Glenn has loved books since the age of four and enjoys being able to work at what is essentially a hobby. The bookshop will continue to stock a diverse range of topics including maps, military history and local interest, as well as having a children’s section and a second hand book section. There remains a greeting card section that is in the process of being re-stocked and resupplied. Local authors have been given prominent place in the shop, several of whom have already visited and signed their works. The shop will also place special orders for books and look for hard to find titles for its customers.
Glenn recently learnt that his first novel has been picked up by American publishers Harlequin and looks forward to being able to stock this title in the near future. The novel is one in a series of men’s adventure called Mack Bolan – The Executioner originally created by Don Pendleton.
Glenn and his wife, Desiree, look forward to your custom and having a good chat about all things books and cards.
