Woodbridge announces plans for this year’s festivities. Events include numerous visits from Santa, the Mammoth Christmas Street Fair and a community Christmas carol service on the iconic Market Hill.
On 16th November at 11am, Santa will be at Notcutts Garden Centre to open his grotto. Families can visit Santa at Notcutts every weekend in the lead up to Christmas between 11am and 4:15pm. Santa is working with The Rotary Club of Woodbridge to raise money for Suffolk Carers, Just 42 and other charities supported by Rotary.
On Sunday 7th December the Mammoth Christmas Street Fair will make Woodbridge a bustling hive of activity as stalls line the Thoroughfare and Cumberland Street selling a range of seasonal gifts and produce. At 6pm Santa will ride through town via Seckford Heights and Oxford Drive providing an extra dose of Christmas cheer for the community.
On Monday 22nd December The Rotary Club of Woodbridge host their annual Carol Service on Market Hill. Woodbridge Violin Shop, 26 Market Hill, will be selling Christmas lanterns to add to the atmosphere whilst Santa returns yet again to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hand out sweets and goodies to the children.
