WOODBRIDGE BUSINESSES URGED TO ENTER CHRISTMAS WINDOW COMPETITION
The Christmas window competition is going to be bigger and better than ever before this year – with three opportunities to win.
Judges will pick out a winner for small window display, large window display and a business service (non-retail) window – with each receiving a prize.
An overall winner will then be picked to have their name inscribed on the coveted Gobbitt & Kirby shield.

But that’s not all!
Choose Woodbridge is taking this opportunity to encourage more visitors to our beautiful town this Christmas with the launch of a town treasure trail for kids.
This will take them – and their parents – on a tour of businesses participating in the Christmas window competition.
Children will be invited to spot a Christmas themed poster hidden in each and every festive window front.
James Lightfoot, chairman of Choose Woodbridge, said: “We recognise that some of the smaller businesses – and those which are not in retail – have struggled to compete with the more established names in town in previous Christmas window competitions.
“By expanding the number of categories to enter, we are acknowledging this and giving those the opportunity to shine.
“The children’s competition is just another incentive to get involved. After all, it means those taking part will be exploring the town during the most crucial shopping period in the year.”
