The Weekend of 8TH/9TH July 2017 – Celebrating 100 years of Martlesham Heath.
Planning and Fundraising continues for this Major Event… what we have so far….
- A replica Spitfire and Hurricane to be on display here
- major staging has been booked
- large display of vintage and veteran vehicles is coming
- Fun Fair and entertainment.
- and local individuals, Societies and Associations are already starting to plan their part of the Event.
Do YOU or your Company or Organisation want to get involved….. We have different Sponsorship deals available to fit every pocket!
Sponsors so far include B.T., Next, Orwell Trucks, Barker Gotelee Solicitors, Marks and Mann Estate Agents, and “The Ropes Trust” – and others are coming on board as this is typed…. and Heritage Lottery Funding has been applied for….
Supporters so far include: The Martlesham Heath Aviation Society, Martlesham Heath Householders Ltd, Local Schools, The University of Suffolk, Martlesham Brass has been booked, Suffolk New College, St. Michael and All Angels Church, and Rock Barracks……
WHY NOT GET INVOLVED…. Perhaps sponsor a specific part of the weekend… for instance we are investigating hiring “Old Bill” the London Transport Museum vintage bus that took Troops to war in 1914.
