Today saw the culmination of the hard work from the Mayor of Woodbridge (Clare Perkins) and the directors of Choose Woodbridge, with the opening of the exhibition of an World Record mosaic in the Woodbridge area.
Michael Linton, creator of the work, which is a full size replica of the Bayeux Tapestry, talked through his 33yr journey creating the mosaic and the scenes depicted on it this afternoon.
The exhibition, which is open to the public from Saturday 16th December, is currently located on Riduna Park in Melton (behind the new Suffolk Coastal Council offices, across the road from Melton railway station.
Open daily Wednesdays to Sundays & entry is FREE for children under 12, and is running until mid February 2018
