Local businesses were the backbone of a slick operation. Notcutts Garden Centre supplied the trees the quality of which has already been widely praised.

Clare’s excellent team was led by of Mark of Webb Brothers who was happy to continue a tradition his father started. The help of Tim Fincham of the Sandwich Shop throughout the weekend was “invaluable” Clare said.  Scott of G & K Estates provided essential assistance.

The team not only added a tree to most shop fronts but also put them high up on the Shire Hall in Market Hill .

Paul Ray of the Wild Strawberry Café had arranged for trees to be put up on shops there.

James Lightfoot the Chairman of Choose Woodbridge said: “This was a slick operation. When people hear how pretty Woodbridge looks it should bring people here to enjoy our shops, pubs and restaurants.”
