Homestyle, the Martlesham-based producer of windows and conservatories, has pledged to raise £10,000 for St Elizabeth Hospice through a series of fun community fundraising events, including a golf and family day at Seckford Golf Club on 30th May, with golf from 12.15 and a family-friendly barbecue from 5pm.
To join in the 18-hole golf day is £35, reduced to £15 for members of Seckford Golf Club. It’s just £10 per person for family and friends to come along for the barbecue. To book, call Graham Shemmings on 01473 681 118
A committed fundraiser and community man, Homestyle’s owner Graham Shemmings and his team are putting on a range of fun, local fundraising events for people of all ages to help him to reach his £10,000 target for the hospice.
Homestyle has sponsored ‘The Great Piggish Bake-off’ Pig, one of the dozens of pig sculptures which will form the Pigs Gone Wild trail this summer in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice. Homestyle is also holding a ‘Bake off’ cake baking competition later this month which will be judged by David and Lindsay Wright from Woodbridge Cake Shop. The winner will walk away with a KitchenAid mixer, kindly donated by Anglia Factors.
Shemmings has also pledged to donate £5 per visitor to their showroom and £20 for each new order placed from March through to early September when the Pigs Gone Wild trail ends.
Mr Shemmings said: “We recently had a tour of St Elizabeth Hospice and, whilst we fundraise every year, this year our commitment and conviction is stronger than ever. The hospice needs to raise funds through Pigs Gone Wild and we’re determined to do our bit. It’s a great opportunity for businesses and families to join together and support the Hospice. If anyone wants to join in with any of our activities, please get in touch on 01473 681 118.”
The Pigs Gone Wild trail begins on 27 June 2016. To find out more visit www.pigsgonewild.co.uk
