A garden centre which refurbished its restaurant just before lockdown has finally opened the doors to the public.
Notcutts Garden Centre in Woodbridge offers a modern and comfortable dining space with an outdoor seating area for alfresco dining.
The renovations to the restaurant were made at the start of the year but the venue had to be closed shortly after opening due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Now the venue is serving breakfasts and delicious main meals as well as cakes and snacks, with hygiene and social distancing measures introduced. The restaurant is AA COVID-19 confident accredited.
Darren Brooks, General Manager at Notcutts Woodbridge, said: “We were incredibly excited to finally unveil our restaurant transformation to customers and the local community.
“Our spacious dining area and varied menu is a fantastic addition to Woodbridge and we hope people will pop in and take a look at what we have to offer.”
James Lightfoot, Chairman of Choose Woodbridge said of the refurbishment:
“The new restaurant is a great addition to Notcutts and is a lovely place for local residents to visit and enjoy some wonderful food. They cater for all tastes and have vegan and vegetarian options daily, which are proving very popular.”
Last year, Notcutts unveiled their ‘Woodland Walk’ where customers can enjoy the natural woodland, the wildlife and find the 10 hidden wooden animal sculptures.
