As part of the Woodbridge Shakespeare400 programme of events this summer, coordinated by Woodbridge resident and literature enthusiast, Tim Cornford, 30 children aged 7-12 took part in free Drama Workshops. The workshops were full to capacity in the morning and held at Farlingaye, 16th July. The children worked in 6 groups of 5 children and they told the whole of the story of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 6 episodes.
The photographs depict the acting sequence. If the School/Parents would like to request copies of the images/group shots, please email Tim Cornford firstname.lastname@example.org
There is just one event left in what has been a packed programme of largely free events, celebrating 400 years since Williams Shakespeare’s death.
Mark Mitchels, previous History and English teacher at Woodbridge School, will be giving a talk on 28th July, 7pm. If you’d like to attend ‘Shakespeare’s Globe: A Groundling’s View’ at Woodbridge Library reserve a free place by calling phone 01394 446510 or email Helen.Scrivener@suffolklibraries.co.uk
