It’s that time of year again! Woodbridge shopkeepers have been busy turning their shop windows into winter wonderlands as we build up to Woodbridge’s 16th Annual Christmas Window Display Competition.
Shops throughout Woodbridge deck their halls in the hope of winning the best window display each year. The competition has always been tough. For the last two Christmases, Jo Reynolds from The Happiness Store has stole the show with her beautiful and festive displays.
This year’s competition takes place over the 3rd and 4th of December, with judging by Stephen Attwell (Town Mayor), Terry Hunt (East Anglian Daily Times Editor) and Geoff Holdcroft (Woodbridge Town & District Councillor and Choose Woodbridge Director).
Thanks must go to Scott Matheson-Barr of Gobbitt & Kirby, Estate Agents of Woodbridge for once again organising the competition. Scott will be accompanying the judges on Monday 5th December, from 3.00pm.as they tour the streets of Woodbridge looking for those wonderful displays.
There are prizes available for the first four placings, along with the award of the engraved winners shield to the overall winner. Merit certificates are also awarded to recognise the high level of effort displayed.
We’re excited to hear the results, bring on the festivities!
