Online musical performances
The FOWL Events Group invites you to get back into the mood for live events in the Library (beginning again, we hope, in September) by watching and listening to two online performances.
Harpist Zoe Anderton has compiled a delightful, 15-minute recital especially for FOWL. This is live now on YouTube and culminates in a very recent popular composition about a famous Suffolk landmark.
Regular attenders at FOWL’s Tuesday lunchtime recitals will remember The Beech Duo of violinist Jan Halen and guitarist Nigel Tuffs. As well as the violin, Jan plays the loopstation enabling her to play original compositions mimicking a full orchestra. Nigel is a guitarist, composer and teacher. Jan and Nigel invite you to tune in to a half-hour programme of dance music down the ages which they recorded for St Edmundsbury Cathedral as part of its lunchtime recital series during lockdown.
