Behind every photograph, newspaper cutting and familiar object is a story. From Tudor times to the present day, Woodbridge Museum explores the people, places and events that have shaped the town through the centuries.

Browse photographs of familiar streets, read newspaper reports that captured moments both ordinary and extraordinary, explore Woodbridge's maritime heritage, and see the town through the eyes of those who called it home. Whether you've lived here all your life or are visiting for the first time, you'll leave with a deeper connection to this remarkable riverside town.

You'll find the museum in Whisstock's Place, overlooking the River Deben and surrounded by cafés, restaurants and independent shops. Run by knowledgeable local volunteers, the museum also has a small souvenir shop offering books, gifts and keepsakes inspired by Woodbridge and its history.
