John Carrington, Chair of the Tide Mill Charitable Trust observes:
“It’s a tough time with rising energy prices and inflation, so it’s a small token to cut the cost of entertaining children during their summer holiday. It might even attract local families who have not been to the Mill, of which there are many. As well as the big machinery, there are many activities for kids, working models, videos, puzzles and a mouse hunt as well as clear, illustrated explanations of local history, milling and bread making.”
By checking the turning times on the Mill website woodbridgetidemill.org.uk/plan-your-visit visitors can time visits to see the huge machinery in action. The Mill is open every day between 11am and 5pm.
