In it's 25th year, the judging panel of Jenny Riddell-Carpenter MP for Suffolk Coastal, Sally Boazman aka Sally Traffic from Radio 2 and Scott Matheson-Barr Principal at G&K Estates (Gobbitt & Kirby), were all challenged to pick the winners, due to the quality of effort displayed through out the Town and Market Hill. The inclement weather did not dampen the enthusiasm nor fun the judges had in making their deliberations.

What a great event, Woodbridge Christmas Lights On Event was organised by Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music and sponsored by the Woodbridge Town Council.
A fabulous evening with entertainment, food and drink whilst we waited for the 6pm countdown to turn the lights on and then followed by a musical procession for all to follow to the Thoroughfare.
The legendary singer, Geno Washington not only particapated in the countdown by also headlined giving a special performance at 7:45pm at the Market Square.
A Great Night.

The Woodbridge Town Council and Youth Council welcomed the ‘HARES’ together with an Arts and Craft event held at Market Hill. The event continues on Sunday between 11am to 3pm.
The 43rd annual Woodbridge Round-the-Town Charity races will be held in 2025 on Sunday 18th May 2025.
The races follow an undulating course through the streets of Woodbridge that brings the whole town out to line the streets and support the runners.
Over the 42 years the race has been run in excess of £100K has been raised for local charities.
The beneficiary charities are selected each year by club members at the AGM.

We are running/promoting the Christmas Window Competition 2024. We are already being asked when this eagerly awaited annual event will be judges. So we have arranged the panel of judges to convene on Wednesday 11th December, at 2.00pm.
The Trustees of Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum have secured grants from The National Lottery Heritage Fund and East Suffolk District Council to keep the Mill turning.
Trevor Boyd takes the Trophy for the second year running.
The Woodbridge Christmas Lights On Weekend is taking place from 28 November to 1 December with music and street entertainment, mobile projections and Advent Calendar projections on the Tide Mill, rides, the annual Christmas Market, art and science workshops, food stalls and pop-up bars and light art on Market Hill, Whisstock's Place and the Thoroughfare.
We have had two successful events this month, the first was organising the seating and provision of stewards etc., for the ever popular Opera for Woodbridge.
