Woodbridge 10K road race 17th May
The 44th Woodbridge 10k Round the Town running race for adults and 1.5k for juniors takes place at Midday on Sunday 17th May.
Entries sold out in minutes as usual as people love this race as it is around the beautiful streets of Woodbridge attracts huge crowds and is a challenging race, lots of hill with a spectacular finish on Market Hill.
How does the local community benefit?
As well as the pubs and shops doing a good trade on the day. The event also receives generous local sponsorship from over 30 organisations, which plus the entry fees allows us to raise money for local charities. This year we have chosen the following 5 charities who will all receive over £3,000 each:
5th Woodbridge Sea Scouts, Colchester & Ipswich hospitals charity, Woodbridge Museum
St Mary’s Woodbridge church school and Footsteps Walking with you
On the day arrangements
It starts at Midday on 18th May for the main race with the junior race starting shortly afterwards. There will be some road closures as outlined on the attached picture. Further details will be shared to local residents ahead of the race.
